Why can I change the quote field FillDate.Invoice_Number to FillDate.Quote_Number on my Windows 7 computers but not my Windows XP computers?
The only option it gives me when I go to change it is "Parameters" and "None", and it always replaces it with "none". On my Windows 7 computers there is a set of fields under "parameters" I can change, but this is not available on any of my Windows XP pc's.
Can anyone explain why? Thank you.

On XP you need to change the XML Data Path to c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Invoice Expert\Data\QuoteReport.xml or InvoiceReport.xml depending on what template you are editing.

Thank you for responding. Could you help me understand how to do this? I have looked everywhere I know to change the data path but I am not sure where to do this, or how it is done. Thank you for anything you can help with.

The easiest way to do this is to copy the path in my previous post and then in the designer click on the button with the ... and in the file name paste the path and click OK.

Thank you again for responding to my question. I am still having trouble figuring out where to paste the c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Invoice Expert\Data\QuoteReport.xml

I click on Invoice Designer and then click on Professional Quote 1 to edit this, I then click on edit invoice and then go to [FillDate.Invoice_Number] to change it from Invoice_Number to Quote_Number using the label tasks arrow. From here I cannot paste the Data Path anywhere as it does not allow me to. Is this where I am to paste this path or is it somewhere else I am not seeing? Thank you for any help you can give me.

If I can't get this to work correctly I am going to be forced to use a different invoicing program. Can anyone help me get this resolved?
